Mariam Pirtskhalaishvili is a Junior Associate at BLC. She joined BLC in 2019 as an intern and was gradually promoted to the position of  Junior Associate in 2020.  Her practice area includes general business & corporate law, due diligence studies, civil and contracts law.

Apart from her legal practice, Mariam has been actively involved in academic activities and is a winner of various moot court competitions. She is a member of the first-place winner team at Mediate`19 -International Mediation Competition held in Bialystok, Poland; eighth-finalist of the ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition held in Paris, France; member of the team holding Special Award for New Mediator Program at INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament held in Chicago, USA. She is also a member of the University of Georgia team participating at the 28th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. 

Mariam has been actively engaged in various conferences and legal projects since 2013. She won the Best Speaker Award at the National Moot Court Competition organized by the National Center of Commercial Law in 2018 and the 77th scientific conference held by the Tbilisi State University. Mariam is also a winner of an essay competition conducted as part of the EU Cultural Week held by the European Union and blogs competition in a nomination “Young Ombudsman”.

Mariam has published several articles in student-run scientific journals related to the Constitutional Law and legal theory. Education and other credentials:
