Mr. Alexander Bolkvadze
is a
partner of our law office. His practice areas include Business
Law, Civil and Commercial Law, Finance and Banking Law, Energy

our office Mr. Bolkvadze worked as a counsel at the GCG law
office in Georgia representing a variety of international
businesses engaged in oil & gas sector and project finance.
Additionally, Mr. Bolkvadze served as an In-House Counsel for
the US-Georgian Commercial Bank JSC Absolute Bank representing
bank on issues of Civil and Commercial Law, Banking and Finance
during litigations. Mr. Bolkvadze’s experience includes judicial
clerkship at New York Supreme Court First Judicial District
preparing a wide variety of jury charges, writing opinions,
drafting pre-trial motions and his work as a counsel at the
UNHCR office in Tbilisi. Mr. Bolkvadze lectures on Contracts and
Oil & Gas Law at the American University of Hawaii – Tbilisi
Campus. Mr. Bolkvadze’s professional education includes Tbilisi
State University Department of International Law and
International Relations (J.D. 1994) and University of Notre Dame

Ms. Ketti Kvartskhava
is a partner of our law office. Her practice areas include
Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax Law, International Business
Transactions, International Arbitration and Banking and Finance
Law. Ms. Kvartskhava’s professional experience includes her work
as a Commercial Law Advisor at the USAID Georgia; her work as an
In-House Counsel for the US-Georgian Commercial Bank JSC
Absolute Bank and at the JSC Transcaucasia Bank, and as legal
assistant at the Mission of Georgia to the United Nations on
issues of International Business Law, International Taxation and
Georgian legislation. Ms. Kvartskhava holds professional degrees
from the Tbilisi State University Department of Law (‘Aspirantura’
2001), Wake Forest University School of Law (LL.M 1999) and
Tbilisi State University Department of Law (J.D. 1997). She
teaches International Private Law at the Tbilisi State
University Department of Law. Ms. Kvartskhava has successfully
passed the first Georgian Bar Exam held in November 2003. She
is a member of International Law Society and Women in Law

Mr. Levan Dadiani
is a partner of our law office. His areas of specialization
include Business Law, Securities regulation, Insurance, Legal
Drafting Law, Legal Drafting, International Litigation and
Arbitration, Oil & Gas Law, Tax Law and Investment Law. Prior to
joining our office Mr. Dadiani served as a counsel at
Begiashvili & Co in Tbilisi where he represented a variety of
international businesses engaged in oil & gas, project finance,
acted as a counsel in EBRD investment projects, prepared legal
due diligence reports on Georgian commercial banks in EBRD
investment projects, advised a number of international oil
companies on issues of Georgian law. Mr. Dadiani participated in
legislative drafting of the number of Laws of Georgia including
the Law on Advertisement and the Law of Georgia on Oil & Gas.
Mr. Dadiani’s professional education includes Tbilisi State
University Department of International Law and International
Relations (J.D. 1998) and University of Texas at Austin School
of Law (LL.M. 2000). He is a member of the Austin LL.M
Association and the Georgian Young Lawyers Association.

Ms. Maia Okruashvili
serves as a Senior Associate at the firm. Ms. Okruashvili
specializes in Securities regulation and Corporate Law. Ms.
Okruashvili graduated from Columbia Law School where her studies
were focused on Securities Regulation, International Banking and
Corporate Law fields. Earlier she was Hansard Research Scholar
at London School of Economics and Political Science. She served
as a senior Associate for GLP Law Office prior to joining BLC.
Earlier Ms. Okruashvili served as a legal adviser for Universal
Service Department with Georgian National Communications
Commission and was later promoted as the Head of the Universal
Service Department. Ms. Okruashvili has been involved in
drafting of important parts of Georgian Legislation; she has
co-drafted Law on Broadcasting, Law on Electronic
Communications, Law on Freedom of Press and Speech and Draft Law
on Postal Services. Ms. Okruashvili teaches Corporate Law to LLM
student at Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. She is fluent
in Georgian, Russian and English languages. Ms. Okruashvili
serves as a member of the Supervisory Council of Micro Finance
Organization Credo. She is admitted to Practice in the State of
New York.
Ms. Irina Aleksidze
serves as
a Senior
Associate at our law office. Her specialization
includes Corporate Law, Contract Drafting and Analysis, as well
as Labor Law. Prior to joining our office Mrs. Aleksidze served
as the Head of the Contracts Division of the Legal Department at
Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing, Associate at GCG Law Office,
Associate at Ernst and Young Legal. Mrs. Aleksidze’s educational
background includes the Diploma with Honors from Tbilisi
Technical University, Faculty of Law (Tbilisi, 2000), two
semesters of studies in law at Augsburg University (Augsburg,
1997-1998), the Master of Law degree (L.L.M.) from Augsburg
University (Augsburg, 2001). Ms. Aleksidze is fluent in
Georgian, Russian, English and German languages, with basic
knowledge of Spanish
Mr.
Giorgi Batlidze
serves as an
Associate at our law office. His practice areas include,
Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Civil Law and
Litigation, Real Estate Transactions and Investments,
Telecommunication Law, Labor Law. Prior to joining BLC Mr.
George Batlidze served as an Bar assistant at the Meineke Law
Office, (Göttingen, Germany) and as an international Legal
Advisor of Building-Architectural Company “Doki” LLC. His
educational background includes the Magister.iuris. /LL.M.
Degree in Corporate and Civil Law from Göttingen University
(2007), Full course of studies in Law at the Law Department of
Göttingen University (2001-2005), Diploma from Tbilisi State
University, Faculty of International Law and International
Relations (2005). During his studies in Germany, he was a
member of Self-Government of the University (2003-2005). Mr.
Batlidze has successfully passed Georgian Bar Exam in May 2008.
With native Georgian Mr. Batlidze is fluent in German, English
and Russian languages and has basic knowledge of French.
Mr. George Jugeli
serves as an Associate at our law office. His practice areas
include Georgian and European Company Law, Tax Law,
Administrative Law, Trade Law, Contracts, Property Law. Dr.
Jugeli is aslo an Associated Profesor at Tbilisi Academy of
Economy and Law. Prior to joining BLC Dr. Jugeli served as an
Attorny at Law Company “Nodia and Partners”, his
professional
experience also includes work as Legal Advisor at a tax and
legal Consalting Group “Alexander”. He possesses
the experience of working in the NGO sector as well. Dr.
Jugeli’s educational background includes the scientifical and
professional degrees at the Bremen University (Germany) (Magna
cum laude Diploma of Doctor of Law (Dr. Jur.) 2005), at Tbilisi
State University Departament of Law (J.D. 2001), Tbilisi State
University Departament of International Law and International
Relations (J.D. 1998). Dr. Jugeli has succesfully passed
Georgian Bar Exam in May 2006. He is a founder of NGO “Human
Rights Information and Documentations Center” (HRIDC Georgia)
and an individual member of Amnesty International.

serves as an Associate at our law office. His practice areas

(2007), Diploma from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of

Otarashvili
serves as an
Associate at our law office. Her practice areas include

jointing BLC, Ms. Otarashvili served as an intern of NDI
parliamentary internship program at the Speaker’s Office of the
Parliament of Georgia and as a Parliamentary Program Assistant
at Transparency International Georgia. Ms. Otarashvili’s
professional educational background includes the Master of Laws
(LL.M) degree from Comparative Constitutional Law Stream of the
Legal Studies Department of the Central European University
(Budapest, 2007) Diploma with Honors from Tbilisi State
University, Department of International Law and International
Relations (Tbilisi, 2004). Ms. Otarashvili has successfully
passed the Georgian Bar exam in November 2007. She is fluent in
Georgian, English and Russian Languages.
Mr. Archil Lezhava
serves as an Associate at our law office. Mr. Lezhava’s practice
areas include Corporate, Civil and Contracts Law matters. Since
2004 Mr. Lezhava has been primarily engaged in the litigations
team of BLC. Prior to joining our law firm Mr. Lezhava has been
studying law in Germany, University of Munich. Mr. Lezhava holds
the law degree (JD 2005) from the Tbilisi State University
Faculty of International Law. With native Georgian Mr. Lezava is
fluent in Russian, German and English foreign languages.
Mr. Levan Nikoladze
serves as an Associate at our law office. Mr. Nikoladze is
specialized in Corporate matters, Legal Research and Drafting,
Patent Law, Contracts, Tax Law, Registration of Corporate
Entities, conducting Due Diligence studies. Mr. Nikoladze served
as the paralegal at BLC since 2004 and due to his exceptional
abilities was shortly promoted to the position of Junior
Associate. Mr. Nikoladze holds the law degree (JD 2005) from the
Tbilisi State University Faculty of Law. He is fluent in
Georgian, Russian and English languages.
Mr. Otar
Mosiashvili
is
a Senior Tax and Finance Analyst of BLC. Mr. Mosiashvili
practices in Tax Advise, relations with the tax authorities,
drafting the returns and accounts and advising the clients on
tax compliance. Mr. Mosiashvili has successfully acquired the
license of the auditor and is the Partner of BLC Audit LLC, a
separate legal entity associated with BLC providing audit
services to their clients. Prior to joining our law-firm Mr.
Mosiashvili successfully passed the qualification exams for tax
officials in 2000 and was hired by Mtatsminda-Krtsanisi Tax
Inspection for a position of Senior Inspector. Mr. Mosiashvili
holds degrees in tax and financial accounting and economics from
Tbilisi State University. He has participated in number of
professional conferences and workshops for tax and financial
accounting and international accounting standards.
Ms. Kate
Eliozashvili
serves as the Paralegal at our law office. Prior to joining our
office she worked as a paralegal/interpreter in
Georgian-American Bank JSC Absolute and as an assistant to the
Chairman of the National Securities Commission of Georgia. She
has an experience in translating financial and legal texts,
agreements, statutes and other specific documents in/from
English and Russian. Ms. Eliozashvili holds a degree from the
Department of Western European Languages and Literature of the
Tbilisi State University. With native Georgian Ms. Eliozashvili
is fluent in Russian and English foreign languages.
Ms.
Nato Murtskhvaladze
is a Paralegal of our law office since 2006. Her practice areas
include registration of corporate and non-commercial legal
entities, researching diverse legal issues, participating in
conduction of due diligence studies, translating legal
documents, drafting the documents in connection with
litigations, obtaining documents from various governmental
institutions and etc. Ms. Murtskhvaladze’s professional
experience includes working at the Department of Public
Relations of the Parliament of Georgia . She was the organizer
of the International Students Conference “Millennium Challenge
Georgia – Young Leaders Initiatives” and several other
international youth conferences. Ms. Murtskhvaladze holds the
bachelor’s degree in Law of the Tbilisi State University . At
present she is the LLM program student in Corporate Law at
Caucasus School of Law. With native Georgian, Ms. Murtskhvaladze
is fluent in English, Russian languages and with training in
French
Ms. Tamta
Ivanishvili
serves as a Paralegal at our office. Prior to joining BLC, Ms.
Ivanishvili interned at the Administrative Chamber of the
Supreme Court of Georgia and at the Georgian National
Communication Commission (GNCC). She also worked as a lawyer at
the non-governmental organization nGnI (new Generation – new
Initiative) and assisted the observers of the election with
legal consultations. She presently is at her senior year at the
Law Faculty of Tbilisi State University. With native Georgian
Ms. Ivanishvili is fluent in English and Russian languages.
Mr. Aleksandre
Chedia
serves as a paralegal at our law office. He is at his last year
of studies at the Law Faculty of Tbilisi State University. With
native Georgian Mr. Aleksandre Chedia is fluent in English and
Russian languages.
