The Law of Georgia on Entrepreneurs sets forth an exhaustive list of enterprises that can be established in Georgia. Such enterprises are: Joint-Stock Company (JSC); Limited Liability Company (LLC); General Partnership; Limited Partnership (LP); Cooperative; Individual Enterprise.

The state registration procedure takes only one business day in Georgia. Apart from the
application form as approved by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, certain documents shall be submitted to the National Agency of Public Registry for the purposes of registration. Documents produced in a foreign country should be notarized and apostiled (alternatively – legalized) unless there is a bilateral treaty in place allowing the acceptance of merely notarized documents. Please contact BLC for the details of the documents and their perfection.
